In the Navy
Village People
Go West*

I dropped into my company’s employee store yesterday, just to kill a little time after I’d finished eating, when it was still too early to clock in again. A quick stop. I was in and out in under five minutes, but, as previously noted, disco music is now following me. It will play in every public space I visit until the end of the month.
Not even five minutes in that place, and Macho Man started playing. How weird is it that song is still a part of the modern world’s collective consciousness? Seriously? Macho Man? It’s true, though; everyone knows that song. If you can find someone who doesn’t know that song, I’ll eat my headdress.
Today’s song is not Macho Man because I don’t have a copy of Macho Man, but this song is by the Village People and it’ll give you pretty much the same effect, anyway.
